There are no heart even, so the only even you'll have with the girls are the story ending, you can see the list of the endings HERE

There's only one ending that involves Gwen fully, which is the endangered animal, and she might appear a few times in the Horse ending ( she as your race rival)

Hi! Thanks so much for this guide. I don't speak much Japanese so this really helps haha.
I just have a couple of questions - is there only a certain time period you can play? Like a certain amount of years or something? Or can you play as long as you want like many other HM games? And can you have children?
Thanks!

the main story line of the game takes 2 years, and on the 3rd year you can marry a girl. After the marriage you can play as long as you want.

sadly, there's no children system in this game..so no matter how long you play the game your wife wont get pregnant

@lim
the festival is supposed to be held on the main square ..if I'm not mistaken

@ deadly girl.
Yes you can upgrade your house. All you have to do is go to the carpenter, talk to Sara(Gwen).
First you'll get some options like upgrade chicken coop, barn and make dog house, you need to do one of them to unlock the option to upgrade your house(add kitchen and bathrooms). Then after that you can upgrade your house into a bigger one and buy extra bed for you wedding preparation at year 3.

Can you please tell me how to get the power berries step-by-step? I'm very much lost on the part where you have to use the ocarina.

First, you'll need to train your dog first using the Ocarina you bought from the Rune's item shop. It might takes a few tries before you can get the power berries. And to get the dog to dig for the power berries, bring your dog to the areas below, and put the search command/song using the ocarina (Down, Left, up) and let the dog use his instinct to find it

and here are the location of the power berries
* Goddess Spring - Near the two trees in the middle
* Mountain Crossroad - In the very center of the area
* Mountain Crossroad - The top of the stairs
* Supermarket Area - The mound of earth in front of the store, between the two trees
* Bar/Tea Shop - The tree near the northern part of the area
* Clove's Villa - The tree at the top right of the stairs
* Carpenter's house - Near the stairs in the center of the map
* Carpenter's house - Near the righthand set of stairs
* Flower shop/Tool Shop area - To the left of the Flower bed by Lyla's store
* Town Square - To the left of the Flower/tool shop sign
