Its May 1st which means its time for our monthly new post/update.

So to get right down to business. We would like to give our congrats to our top 3 chosen winners of our Fan Art contest!

1st place, Celestral! She won a free copy of Harvest Moon the Tale of Two Towns for the Nintendo DS! Congrats on winning! We hope you have a great time with your new game!



2nd place was Tgainsbrough. She declined to send us a photograph of her and her prize of Harvest Moon Grand Bazaar for the Nintendo DS so you will just have to take our word for it that she got the prize. At least our other 2 contestants were more then happy to help us out with promoting our contest so kudos to them for helping out!

And last but certainly not least Slypiper took 3rd place with his 3D clay display. Slypiper received a cool HM64 fridge magnet. Congrats buddy!

And a note to those who haven't contacted us yet with their name and mailing address, we still have a cool pin on button with Hm artwork which can be seen in the picture a couple news posts down the page. So our poll for April was for us to get an idea of what kind of participation we would get if we held another contest in the near future. The options were rather simple, "Yes, No or Maybe" The following are the final tally's of the poll! We got 9 definite "Yes!" votes. 2 people didn't like contests. And a great turn out of 13 maybe's. Well, maybe is better then No. Thanks for voting.

So as mentioned at the beginning of April our next poll will decide what the contest will be about next time around. So if you are planning to enter again or were one of the 13 people who voted maybe, or the 9 who voted yes, be sure to vote again for what you would like the contest subject to be! The poll will run until June 1st. We decided to do 1 option at a time for a contest so a lot of people get a chance to see each option, plus its going to be a while before we do another contest. So the Poll for June will be to get your opinion on the option of having a Harvest Moon Character Look-A-Like Photo Contest! In this contest you would have to dress up like any HM character and try to be as accurate as possible with costume and hair, etc and take a picture. Most accurate and well designed costume would win obviously. So let us know what you think by voting on our poll for May!

Its a little late into the month but we have been busy and havent had a chance to make a new poll up for the month of April. We here at HMP would like to get an idea on what kind of participation we would get if we held another contest that was Harvest Moon related in some way. So the next 2 polls will be on that subject. This month we will have a poll simpyl asking if you would enter our next contest or not so we can get an idea of how many people would enter, and then next month we will have a poll about what the contests subject will be wether it be another fan art, or fanfic etc. So be sure to vote on the new poll to let us know if we held another contest, if you would be interested in entering!

The following are the current poll results for last month. The poll question was "How long have you been playing HM games?"

We had a great turn out for voters, totalling 140! Thanks for voting everyone. The poll was dominated at both ends for 1st and 2nd place. 1st place went to the veteran HM players, 57 voters, just over 40% have been playing HM for 10 or more years. While 17 voters had just started to play HM, well we're glad to welcome you to the rest of the fans of the series! the 3rd place or technically tie for 2nd place was 17 votes as well, obviously, and they had been playing for 3 years. The remainder of the votes ranged from 1-8 for the other options.

Thanks again for voting everybody! So once again our next poll question will be "Are you going to enter the next HMP Contest?" Remember, it might not be a fan art contest, it will be HM related, so be honest, if you are interested voted yes. The next poll will dicuss the subject for the contest. So be sure to check in next month as well.

Please check your email inbox from the email address you sent us your Fan Art entry as there is an email waiting for you. We need everybody who entred to send us their name and mailing address as everybody who entered, not just the winners, will be getting a little something from us in the mail! So please check your email ASAP and email us back!

Also the winners of the contest have been decided as of last night and we will be announcing the winners on Thursday March 15th. So be sure to check in there. After that all of the entries we got will be put in a new fan art section with credit to each of the artists so everybody can enjoy them.
